I recently saw this story on lead poisoning in China. This story is a great example of the kind of issue that a developing, densely populated country like China faces.
The lead poisoning in China story got me thinking about the controversial issue of lead poisoning in the City Schools water supply, and a quick search produced this video clip that was featured in this article from the Baltimore Examiner (a newspaper that is now no more)
DYING TO LEARN, THE EFFECTS OF LEAD POISONING ON YOUNG PEOPLE IN INNER CITY SCHOOLS from INTELLIGENT SEEDZ on Vimeo.
Why is it do you think that people who live in low income communities are disproportionately affected by environmental problems? Watch the whole video for some answers…..
